"The Cardiac Unit really has heart - bless em!"

About: Worthing Hospital

After a working life of some 40 plus years with hardly a day off sick, as I now get relentlessly old l find I have developed a multitude of health issues many of which require visits to almost every department at Worthing Hospital. 'Speak as you find' l say. Worthing Hospital is second to none. We are very lucky to have it - lets hope the polititions leave it alone. The other day my pacemaker seemed to be playing up, or so l thought, so l rang the clinic where it was fitted and was given an immediate appointment to be seen there. The staff were sympthetic, attentive to my concerns, and one of the nurse/technicians sought out a doctor to see me. He turned out to be a senior Cardiac Consultant, extremely well qualified and experienced. He confirmed the diagnosis, prescribed a remedial alternative medicaton and after giving a thorough detailed explantion of my bleep bleep, with sympthetic re-assurance l thanked him and the clinic staff all, and was back home within the hour. One happy, satisfied bunny! - and somewhat gobsmacked. God Bless them. P.S. Before leaving the Hospital l had to pick up the new medication and whilst waiting in the pharmacy I couldn't help but notice that someone had slashed the seating with a Stanley Knife. There are certainly some sick people to be found in hospitals.
