About: Shropshire and Staffordshire Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS) The Princess Royal Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

– Saw GP, Dr Guanejah at Stirchley Medical Centre for a review. Explained I had a problem in left side of my groin and that I was concerned the hernia pain of 3 years ago had recurred. GP said he would refer me to Mr Pattu.

– Call from TRAQS to arrange appointment. Very impressed with the speed & efficiency and promptness of the my appointment

– Appointment at PRH @ 09: 50. Arrived a little early, shown to correct waiting room, called in by Mr Pattu at 09: 45, who examined me and informed me that he thought the hernia was ok but would arrange for a scan to check what was wrong. 09: 55 off for tea in friends’ café! Very impressed with the speed and efficiency from seeing GP to seeing specialist
