"Saved my life yet again on Friday"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

Blood test by GP missed that I had lost half my red blood cells. Within days I had collapsed with anemia and needed a 999 call. Very busy A&E but diagnosed very quickly and given life saving blood transfusion. This hospital saved my life after a heart attack three years ago too. On both occasions staff were under extreem pressure but managed great care and attention.

Thank you for your positive response regarding your visit to A&E. We strive to deliver a high quality service and we are glad that we succeeded on this occasion, especially as the department was under extreme pressure. We do hope you are now recovering well.
