"Gaul Bladder removal"

About: Duchy Hospital

I have recently undergone surgery at the Duchy Hospital, having initially seeing a Doctor for my particular problem to decide on the treatment necessary for my complaint. The Doctor who greeted me was extremely pleasant, he answered all my question be it my fears or anything else and did so in a kind and considerate way. He explained that it was necessary for me to have this operation and the reasons why, so that I could make my own decision. He was thorough in all the information applicable to my procedure and the problems I would face by not having this operation. I had little doubt that his recommendation was right for me. On arriving at the Duchy Hospital I was received at reception with a smile from a very pleasant receptionist who passed me through to the nurses and to my room for the day, I was surprised to have my own little room and I loved it. The nurse came in to take all my details and although extremely busy was patient and pleasant with me, not only then but also after my operation. I had the normal Blood tests etc., and again a really pleasant nurse dealt with that side of things as did my Anesthetist, who listened to my concerns with certain problems I have, noting them and assuring me all would be OK she was lovely. Finally I saw my surgeon who was very matter of fact but in a very nice way, asking me if there was anything I wanted to know about the operation and what was going to happen, we discussed a few things and then it was nearly time for me to go into surgery. I did notice that the Doctor was also really nice to the nurses both before he came in to see me and afterwards, which I thought was really human for want of a better word. I was then taken to have my operation; I have had many operations some very bad and so painful I couldn't begin to explain. However, that' was in the in the past and not at the Duchy Hospital. I was informed that I could go home after a short while by my nurse.my surgeon came to see me to make sure I was OK and sign me off, my nurse led me to reception asking, was I feeling alright which I replied, 'yes thank you I feel that I've had a lovely day out' that seems such a silly thing to say after my experiences over the past years. This operation was, shall I say, so easy for me, sounds funny but true. I recovered from my operation really quickly and am so glad I listened to the Doctor on my first visit to the Duchy, I know he gave me solid information and advice, it was the right decision to have this operation. I received a telephone call, which I was expecting from a super lady adjoined to the Duchy Hospital, she asked how I was after my operation.being normal procedure for the Duchy. I was so please that I didn't have to make another trip to hospital, I know sometimes you have to go but it was nice to just have a phone calI I would highly recommend the Duchy to anyone needing treatment etc., and you can always 'Choose and Book ' for your preferred Hospital. Thank you so Much The Duchy Hospita
