"Pain in my right side"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I have had an ultrasound scan two colonoscopies a Ct scan another ultrasound and I am still in pain. I have diverticulosis. Although the testa were well done I feel that the reporting of results could be improved. My pain killers have ceased to work. The Nhs has spent a lot of money on me and I am left with the advice from my GPs that they may never know what is wrong with me.

Dear Henietta

Thank you for sharing your experience on Patient Opinion. We are concerned to hear that you are in pain and that the painkillers you have are no longer effective. We would be keen to understand how the reporting of results could be improved and would welcome the opportunity to look into the issues you have raised. If you would like to contact the Complaints and Feedback Team via feedback.tayside@nhs.net we would be happy to discuss this with you.

Kind regards.

Alison Moss
