"If my mother in law wasn't depressed before..."

Shocking treatment by your representative who talked as if the patient he was asked to see due to her low mood during cancer treatment, was dying very soon , mistakenly told her she was on a morphine drip , was actually saline , suggested that we as her family were perhaps more in need of his help than the patient . As we had requested the input from mental health team due to her depressed mood , I've felt patronised and insulted by his comments and will request further intervention by her medical team regarding her condition and prognosis. Also waking her up in the night to ask if she wanted to be resuscitated does not do much to install confidence in treatment plan
