"Appointments staff inability to actively listen..."

Letter with appointment date of 17th December 2014 for assessment of the injury on my right knee, referred from a Consultant of Horsham Hosp;dated 8th September 2014 received 5th December, letter dated 22nd November. (approx 10 weeks!) Why not e-mail or telephone? Phoned 3 separated numbers to query why I had this assessment and who ordered it, as I had had the operation in September as I could not wait any longer.(Injury occurred late April) Having found out eventually the explanation that my knee required assessment prior to surgery I cancelled the appointment. I have now a letter received 23rd December and dated 22nd December for the same assessment for an appointment on the 31st December 2014. I didnt cancel by phone again as I could not see the point as maybe nobody can understand English. I was told that my first appointment was booked through Central Out Patients who told me that the booking came from the Consultant dated 8th September then booked by Horsham Hospital 15th September, my letter dated 22nd November for an appointment on 17th December 2014. Please send no further letters and please update my file, always supposing you have one. I have never visited your hospital so as I am unable to put this in requirement number 4, please take no notice of the entered date.
