I drove my wife, who is 70 years old, to Grantham A&E Dept at 1300 at the end of 2014 following a fall on ice whilst delivering the village magazine in Caythorpe.
She was examined very promptly and X rays were quickly arranged. It was discovered that she had fractured her pelvis although an operation would not be required to repair the damage. Throughout the whole incident, all staff were very caring and considerate and she could not have wished for better treatment.
Before she left hospital it was carefully ascertained whether we could cope at home (We could) and she was provided with any walking aids she needed.
She is now recovering well. Thank you and very well done to all the A&E staff at Grantham.
"Thank you and very well done"
