My mother was attended at home by a paramedic and ambulance crew, then moved to A&E at St.Peter's two days before Christmas. The attention she received was excellent, and the care and concern for her and for us, her family, was exceptional. Without exception every professional involved during her stay in hospital, until her death four days later, gave the highest level of commitment. We were kept fully informed of her treatment and given regular appraisals of the situation. We could not have asked for any more from St.Peter's hospital during a busy Christmas period and thank those involved for helping us through a difficult and sad time.
