"NHS as it is meant to be"

About: University Hospital Of Hartlepool

Staff identified that the paper work was inconsistent and the investigative procedure I was expecting to receive was not what 'the doctor ordered'. I was lucky in that the prep work I did, was more than was required for the amended procedure. Arrangements were made to carry out the procedure without me having to leave and come back at a later time. All staff seemed to go out of their way to make sure our procedures were carried out in a timely and caring manner, and communicating with us throughout (there's a lot of paperwork). One member of staff stands our in my mind. But all staff were friendly and nothing too much trouble. They may not agree with me but it seemed as if they were happy in their work. Hospital itself has a different approach to parking charges. The system uses number plate recognition. You can buy your ticket when your arrive, when you depart or anytime before midnight on the same day. First 20 minutes are free, then £3 for 12 hours. You can then use the car park at either hospital site as many times as you wish during the period.
