"emergancy Gaul bladder removal"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

I was taken to the QE by ambulance in terrific pain, the guys who came to my house were fantastic and gave me pain relief before and on the journey, they were very chatty and helped me a great deal, my operation was two days later and my Gaul bladder was removed via open surgery as key hole was not possible, I was then in my own en suite room which was immaculate the Drs were great and I was looked after very well also given plenty pain relief to get me through the first few days, domestic staff were very friendly and had a little chat each time they popped in which was nice, hot meals weren't to nice but sandwiches and salads were fine and plenty tea and coffee was brought throughout the day, overall my nightmare was made very bearable by some lovely very talented careing staff, who arnt appreciated enough! I would always speak well of this Hospital and pleased to live in Gateshead as I know decent help is at hand for my family and myself when need be.

Thanks for taking the time to write such a lovely review about the hospital. We'll be sure to pass it on to them teams involved, as they're always keen to hear patient feedback. Could we also wish you all the best in your recovery and a Happy New Year.
