We can echo every single thought and sentiment of the man who's father was in Rowan Ward in September. My aunt entered on 18th November 2014 with a terminal illness and died on 24th December. In that time, as she said herself, she was looked after extremely well. The care and treatment she received were excellent and the staff were superb in all respects. We were surprised to find that we could use so many superlatives during the difficult times that hospitals are experiencing at the moment. We didn't hear a single negative word or hear a negative tone during the many days of our visits. Not only was my aunt- Joan Howard - treated so well, but we as visitors were also welcomed and looked after. It was a huge pleasure to walk through the doors to the atmosphere of the Rowan Ward of Bolsover Hospital . The receptionist and the shop lady and other hospital staff were also very nice to us. We have reserved our places Davis Hoult (nephew) and Peggy Joseph (my girlfriend)
"We looked forward to every visit. A brilliant..."
