"The Docter that treated my daughter"

About: Good Hope Hospital

My daughter wasn't well so we wher in good hope hospital overnight and the nurses where wonderful very kind and nice and helpful, it's just the Docter I had a problem with. I mean I don't know if I'm over reacting but I wasn't happy cause he seemed moody, he didn't smile once and the way he was talking to me about my six year old daughter it was like he was having a go at me. I wasn't gonna do this review thing but when we got discharged the nurse gave me a number to ring if I had any concerns, so I did and I phoned and it was the same Docter. I told him why I phoned and what my concern was, he just spoke to me like I should of known and again it felt like he was having a go at me and he actually hurt my feeling and made me cry and I just hanged up. b4 I hanged up I said I wish I never phoned. from today now I don't feel like going to that hospital again.

I'm so sorry to read about your experience with the Children's medical team here at Good Hope.

I'll make sure this feedback is passed on to the Clinical Director and that the relevant staff are spoken to regarding their attitude and behaviour.

Please accept my apologies and also my thanks for your positive comments regarding the nursing team.

Regards

Richard
