I have worked and still do at the various bases within the Bromley Intergrated Healthcare team.
Every team member is hardworking and very friendly and always helpful.
They work under tremendous pressure due to the shortage, but they do it with a smile(for the clients).
Bromley are very lucky to have such a fantastic Team of Managers and Nurses and Healthcare Assisstants, and Physios. Occupational Therapist.
Due to the work load all of them have, they strive to work to time but most of the days it is impossible as the workload is too much.
As you are aware it is not like in an office where you can shut the computer down and say I have finished, although I know some people who would continue at home. When you are caring for frail and ill human beings no matter how hard you try you cannot turn round and say "I finish at 5 pm so I am going home".
I know the work can be passed on to the next shift, but then that is overloading the next set. It is the paper work although it is vital part of our care, that goes with the practical work that makes things worse.
I like to say a very big thank you to Sam Thom and her team in Addington Road, for their support and friendship to me - "they are brilliant".
I would also like to thank all the other Teams I have worked with for their support,
Thank you also to the Human Resource Team- Ross, Jan, Charlotte for their patience with me when I ring them.
Well done Bromley.
"Lucky to have such a fantastic team"
