I was seen by a surgeon initially, though I think the actual operation was handled by somebody else. I believe my surgeon has now retired, but I was very happy with the treatment I received; I found it was well explained and I was put at ease when booked in for the septoplasty operation. I had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction. aftercare... i have read online there should maybe be splints placed in the nose to protect the cartilage while it heals. I didnt have any; i dont know how necessary they are. Other than that, so far as I can tell my operation was well handled
