"Long Wait"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I had a 9.30 appointment with the eye clinic and a wait of 1hour and 20 mins. It was only after an enquiry that they told us the consultants were running late, with no apology. How can such an early appointment be running so late? The consultant gave no apolog too. Overall I am very pleased with the care given I just think it is curtious to explain reason for such a long delay.
