"Urgent Treatment Centre"

About: Crawley Hospital / Urgent treatment centre

Attended with 12 year old son with suspected wrist fracture. Seen by triage nurse first within 5 minutes and then sent off for an x ray in main hospital department. Only waited 5 minutes again before being seen and photographed by excellent radiographer who was very friendly and most informative, showing us the x ray and explaining things to my son. On return to the UTC we saw the doctor within a few minutes who again did a physical examination of the wrist and then went through the x ray with us. Doctor was very reassuring and explained everything, no broken bones! All done within an hour with kindness and care. NHS thank you, you are wonderful!
