I laboured in the High Risk Delivery section on Christmas Day after being induced twice and it taking nearly 48 hours. It was a very long and painful process, by the end I was probably not the easiest patient to work with. The sisters on this team who cared for me as well as the anethiatists, doctors and other staff were really amazing, truly caring and I feel so lucky to have met them and delivered my baby, even though he was 2 weeks overdue, very large and it was done with forceps. I want to thank them all so much working on their Christmas Day and looking after me and motivating me so well even though it must have been draining. I will never forget them, especially the midwife who lead the final delivery and did absolutely everything in her power throughout to support me and made sure it went well despite the setbacks. Afterwards too, over and above. Thank you so so much.
