"I am trying to recover from my stay at this..."

About: St George's Hospital

I was taken by police to St George's after becoming suicidal over historic child abuse. I was treated in an appalling way, felt like I was being punished for becoming ill over being a victim of abuse. I don't blame the police as they were just trying to help me get help. I was discharged without any aftercare and am in process of making formal complaint. In my opinion this hospital is dangerous. Some of the nurses are doing their best in bad circumstances, but the doctor in charge seems to despise his patients. I was told I was not allowed to know the name of the social worker at my discharge, and there is no provision for child abuse victims or people with Asperger Syndrome. I told one of the nurses I was going to complain as I was discharged and she said please do, it must be awful for the nurses to see how patients are treated there.
