I have had a CPAP machine for approx 5 years, without which I couldn't get a proper night's sleep. At midnight on 23rd December it stopped working. As I was going away on Xmas Eve for the Xmas break, I turned up at the hospital first thing in the morning on Xmas Eve. I had little expectation that anything could be done until after Xmas, but I was wrong! The lovely young lady understood my predicament, tested the machine and confirmed it had indeed stopped working, realised just how important a CPAP machine is to the user, and issued me with a new one. What a star! I cannot praise the department hughly enough.
