This was my first ever stay in hospital since birth, even though I am not sixty years of age. I was diagnosed with a heart attack by the ambulance team and admitted to the coronary care department. The care I received was second to none. Everything was explained to me, and a full description of the treatment I was to receive before the angioplasty as well as another description of what they had found after a stent had been inserted. The nursing staff were wonderful. I will be sure to omit someone but so I won't mention individuals, but toall the nursing staff a huge thank you! Thanks also to the cleaners (the place was spotless) the porters, and especially the cooks as the food was outstanding. As I was in hospital for part of Christmas day I even found a gift (bought for by the nurses themselves chipping in) on my bedside table. What a lovely thought. But grateful thanks, of course, to the medical team and especially to skill of the doctor and the team who performed the operation with the utmost professionalism and good humour despite my innards being an awkward shape! A huge thank you to you all and God bless you.
