"Poor service by nurse"

Due to having crushed my finger in a car door which was badly cut and painfull, I went to a&e Johnston Hospital Spalding. The previous night a nurse had been helpfull and dressed it, and being late said to come back the next day for xrays which I did. The xray department were very friendly, however when I went back to see the nurse she was very unfriendly . The blood was coming through the dressing from the previous night, so I had to ask her if she could re dress it, she said "I can if you want but you dont really need to" When she took the dressing off she just pulled it off forward instead of carefully unwinding it. After she re dressed it my finger was in more pain than it had been when I first walked in. I just felt as a patient who wasnt sitting there complaining, in fact I am polite towards other people I felt like my experience was not very good. A smile and just being polite doesnt cost anything, and maybe more care can be taken when removing a dressing from a wound that is only a few hours old and still quite sensitive. I had the x rays done at about 9am Tuesday 23rd dec and about half an hour later I was seen by the nurse. As I said, the xray and front desk were superb but in my opinion the service received from the nurse was not very good.
