"disappointed with mums care"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

My mum was recently an in patient on ward D1. She has Dementia so sometimes struggles with everyday things. When I arrived to pick her up to take her home, she had on her underskirt & coat but no jumper, no knickers on & a shoe on 1 foot & a slipper on the other foot. I feel this lacked care, knowing her condition surely someone should have noticed the state she was in & assisted her with dressing.

This is clearly not appropriate care and we apologise for your mother's poor experience. It is difficult to look into how this occurred via this website so if you wish to discuss further please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison team on 01204 390193
