The nurse who greeted my mum and I at the Field Road Memory Clinic was wonderful. I arrived early and had an opportunity to spend five minutes on my own with her which was my first chance to bounce some questions off her. My mum has declined significantly since her last visit due to her Alzheimers. The nurse did a wonderful job at putting us both at ease. Also the doctor herself was kind, interested and both recognised that I needed support as my mum as my mum does with me and it is getting really hard. Memory clinics are a brilliant innovation.
