My new cpn tells me I have a new diagnosis of a personality disorder and the treatment on offer is DBT.
They say I was not making any progress with my previous diagnosis of recurrent anxiety etc, and consultant psych. with mental health nurse care.
Well I really don't want to do DBT, the scale of it- a 6 month group, and no evidence base for anxiety PD as yet. I was making progress with the previous consultant and MH nurse, just that it was gradual, eg far fewer accessing of crisis care. So now it's take up the DBT or be discharged (not even the consultant psych)..
I'm worn out as it is with this condition to answer back. Maybe it's the cuts, who knows.
"I've been offered DBT treatment"
