Recently my sister and I were taking my 94 year old blind and frail mother to LRI to be admitted as a medical emergency. Whilst the care she received once admitted was excellent the stress of getting her physically into the hospital was unbelievable. There is nowhere to park or at the very least 'drop-off' at the Balmoral Main Entrance, bearing in mind, like I am sure many other people would be in the same circumstances, she was ill and unable to walk far. The thing that made a bad situation so much worse was the extremely rude and unhelpful car park staff there. It's definitely time that this member of staff was brought to book, he is certainly no asset to patients and,as the first person we spoke to on that occasion, did no favours whatsoever to the reputation of the LRI.
