I have recently completed 37 weekday sessions of Radiotherapy. The staff were all extremely pleasant, considerate, caring, motivated and professional. The radiotherapists were truly amazing trying to work round routine breakdowns of the linear accelerators and keep everyone happy. They had to deal with all manner of patients and did so with care, consideration and kindness. The reception staff were also caring and particularly looked after those that were either frail or had a disability making sure that they were ok. I also wish to praise the main reception staff, security staff and parking staff for their help and assistance over my 37 days. Cancer, per se, is a frightening word and although I won't know for a while whether or not I am clear of this wretched disease, I do know that the staff in Queen Alexandra Hospital did their very best for me and for hundreds of others. Thank you.
