"The Tailor or EGH ENT!"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

My 82 year old Dad was bought to EGH by ambulance 4/12/14 after a fall in Heathfield resulted in him ripping the top of his ear and other scrapes. He was triaged from a&e to ENT for ten stitches. Between the two he was seen within an hour and all professionals who have dealt with Dad's aftercare have been most impressed at the quality of the doctor's work, (is he available for tailoring!). Our family would like to thank all concerned for the quality of care and professionalism my Dad received My only negative comment would be that I drove 175 miles from my home to pick him up and he wasn't aware of any taxi service or other means of transport back to Heathfield where he is my Mother's full time carer.

Thank you very much for expressing your appreciation of the standard of care your father received from staff within the A&E department at Eastbourne DGH. It’s always encouraging for staff to receive positive feedback. As a Trust we are committed to giving the highest quality of care to our patients, and we value all comments from patients and their families. It was extremely kind of you to take the time to provide feedback. We will ensure that your 'thank you' is shared with all the staff concerned and we hope that your father is making a good recovery. With best wishes
