This year we were having my husbands long term back ache investigated when a doctor realised it was his hips causing the problem. We asked for Birmingham Royal Ortho because our son had an excellent hip replacement there last year. Arthur attended the assessment on his own, I thought he'd come back with some meds. He came back with a very speedy date for Double Total Hip Replacement - what a shock. We trusted the hospital, followed their plan, had a good experience of pre-op and post-op care and the surgery was completely successful. A new life of no hip pain and no back pain and no meds. A no fuss solution by a confident and caring team. We are so grateful, and always will be, as we appreciate all the simple things like walking the dog, getting out of the chair easily, lifting and carrying our grand children. Thankyou to an excellent hospital and all the dozens of staff involved in our experience.
