"parking"

About: Tameside General Hospital

I recently went to tameside hospital for an appointment but due to not being able to find a parking space couldn't attend perhaps they should take a leave out of MRIsĺbook and provide off site parking for staff with a shuttle bus service this would free up spaces for out patients and visitors I worked at airport and the above worked very well staff were charged a subsidiced parking fee

Thank you for your comment.

We are sorry you experienced difficulty parking whilst visiting the hospital

Generally there is sufficient parking on site for all visitors and staff. The car parking team are usually on hand to help and point somebody to a suitable parking space.

The hospital site also has a 24 hour manned security service, which affords the users the best possible protection. This level of protection would be very difficult to replicate on off-site parking facilities

I hope this answers your comment

Director of Nursing

Aside from the parking situation - can I check that you have been able to re-book an appointment? Of you've not yet done this, I suggest you contact the department at the hospital that sent you details of the appointment you were unable to attend.
