"disgraceful attitude from housekeepers and..."

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

my daughter was transfered to penguin ward from a london hospital. after being shown where my daughter and myself would be staying i can honestly say i was disgusted with the cleanliness. there was only 1 alcohol gel pump in the ward of six beds, dirty floors, rubbish underneath the cots from previous patients. My partner raised his concerns with a nurse and was eventually escorted out of the ward by security and was not allowed our to see our daughter who had just been taken off of a ventilator in intensive care. The morning after, housekeepers came onto the ward complaining infront of the parents on the ward that the ward management had told them all to pull out all furniture (cots, chairs etc) and clean behind it all, stating that the ward management did not like one of the housekeepers and that was the reason they were asking them to do so.The housekeepers were complaining that they did not have time to clean it all and that they do their best.in my opinion if you need to be told to clean a ward properly and moan about it then clearly you havent been doing the job properly in the first place.to then be moaning about doing your job properly infront of patients' parents is unprofessional.
