"Saved my sight"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

I was transferred from Chesterfield Royal Hospital in October 2011 where i had been attending since may with a problem with my eyes. I met my consultant who tells me now that i was literally days away from loosing my sight. 3 days later i had decompression surgery and so the journey began. Since that i have had radio therapy and 3 more operations on my eyes and my sight is poor but i still have sight I have nothing but good to say about my treatment from the admin staff, nurses doctors and consultants. I have had complete faith in everything they have done and advised me and my eternal thanks go out to the consultant and his team.
