My husband and I came to broomfield hospital yesterday as he had to have some minor surgery. His medical treatment was fine. My problem is with the hospital it's self. While he was in surgery I went to find a cup of tea and something to eat. It was about 9am. Nothing was open and there was no proper canteen, only a little place that doesn't open at weekends. Why on earth are there only franchises? When in a hospital I would expect to be able to sit down and get some breakfast. I wasn't the only ones searching, there were relatives who had been there all night, and desperately needed more than a coffee from a machine. In all an impersonal, cold place, wasn't impressed.
