On the evening of 13th August 2014 I was admitted as a emergency to the Redwood ward with acute kidney injury secondary to urinary retention. From the start in the Accident and Emergency Department, I received excellent attention from all staff attending to me. I was put under the care of a consultant and his team. I once again received the best of attention and care from Doctor's, Nurses and other staff in the ward throughout my nine day stay, being discharged on 20th August. I had my TURP OP on Thursday 4th December which was successfully carried out in the very experienced and capable hands of my consultant. Again I received great caring attention of the Anaesthetist, Nurses and all theatre staff. From theatre recovery, I was taken to the Day Care Ward where once again I received the very best of attention from all who were caring for me throughout my four day stay. I must also give mention to the quality and choice of meals, which in my opinion, were very good and served to you by attentive staff. Also the cleanliness of the ward in both Redwood and Day Care was very good. A big thank you to everyone, well done.
