"I had a Total Knee Replacement on 21st November at..."

I had a Total Knee Replacement on 21st November at the Park Hospital. From the first point of contact the service has been exceptional. No waiting around, efficient and friendly service from pre-op to discharge. I was actually terrified of the prospect of the surgery. I was escorted to theatre by the very lovely Senior Sister who stayed with me until I was sedated. Once back in my room I received second to none care by the wonderful staff and lovely physio. All the staff, consultant, nurses, HCA's, porters, tea ladies, reception, physios etc made a terrifying experience calm and bearable. The only downside to my 48hr stay was being too unwell to enjoy the amazing food! Thank you all so very much.
