"My mum cannot feed herself."

My mum is currently on ward 12 in Pembury hospital, Tunbridge Wells. She has kidney and bowel problems and she is seriously ill. She is disabled and is very weak.

My sister and I are taking it in turns to be there for lunch and tea time so we can try and feed her. Otherwise she would not eat as she now cannot feed herself.

At the weekend there are no staff and everything seems to grind to a halt. We are being encouraged to do this by the staff. Although she has no appetite and has extreme sickness we cannot let her starve due to lack of nursing.

Also my sister and I are paying up to £4.00 a day each in the car park for the privilege.
