"Well done Northern General orthopaedics"

About: Northern General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was recently admitted to the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield with a celluitis infection. I have a Lizarov fixture on my right leg (broken tibia).

The staff in Huntsman ward 4 & 7 were kind, caring and courteous. My bed was changed everyday. Toilets, bath and shower facilities were kept spotlessly clean.

The food was very good and also the choice of menu. Since my late mother’s bad experience of hospital care some 3 or 4 years ago, there has been a change in hygiene, quality of care and standards of food. Well done Northern General, particularly the orthopaedics department.
