"Never again!"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

Never again would i come to this hospital. I discharged myself due to staff not listening to me when i told them the medication made myself dizzy ( still dizzy now and been discharged 4 days ! ) I had to buy my own food if i wanted to eat ( Toast is not going to fill people up ! ) and they didn't even wake you up when the meal trolley/cart thing comes around but wake you up any other time for less ) Pals service is a joke.. i contacted them while in hospital and still waiting now for them to contact me. There was a lady on the ward who wasn't allowed off the ward and had to be watched at all times.. I was left watching her while they sat in a coffee room. Since when does a patient have to sit babysitting another ! Get a grip hospital seriously!

It is very disappointing to hear that you had a bad experience, this is not the standard of care and service we expect to provide. I am sorry that the PALS team didn’t contact you, this is not acceptable. I would urge you to contact them again and I will forward a copy of this comment so that they are aware of your comments and can deal with it appropriately. They can be contacted on 01274 364021 at Bradford Royal Infirmary or 01274 365853 at St. Luke’s Hospital. The text phone number for deaf people is 01274 382580 at Bradford Royal Infirmary. You can also email pals@bthft.nhs.uk. Thank you.
