My opinion of highfield overall is very good I was funded for my operation by the NHS and had a stay of 6 days in September this year . The nursing care was very good apart from one person who I found had a lack of understanding and compassion and the nurse who admitted me and sat on my bed and theatre gown prior to theatre (a cross infection risk). My room was cleaned each day by a pleasant male domestic , my meals when I was able to eat where presented by polite clean and well presented catering staff , my consultant visited me most days and the RMO was available on request but did no conduct a daily ward round that I sort of expected)
