"disgusted at staff"

after standing outside south tyneside hospital not only was i disgusted to see a group of nurses smoking in their uniforms, then returning to work. But the same nurses were also standing (infront of members of the public, likely to be patients relatives may i add!!) slagging of the fact that they are asked to wash their hands, complaining about not having time to do it or have time to put gloves on, basically with the attitude of cant be bothered. I found this highly inappropriate behaviour and felt like saying why bother to be in this line of work, now for the relatives of patients within this hospital standing watching nurses smoking whilst talking about not bothering to was their hands because they havent got time or like they said "it dries their hands so they dont want to" it certainly says a lot about hygiene.
