"Neurology Dept - MS Nurse"

My dad recently underwent a Lumbar Puncture Proceedure at Sunderland Royal Hospital with the MS Nurse as part of an ongoing medical investigation. Obviously this is a very worrying and unsettling time - however the care we have received to date has been fantastic. The MS nurse took time to sit and explain the procedure to my dad, and answer any queries and concerns he had. She also put him at ease throughout the procedure by explaining what she was doing. Furthermore the aftercare he received was brilliant, with a phone call several days later to check how he was. The nurse he saw was fantastic and a credit to the NHS, and any future patients can be reassured that they will be in good hands. Thank You.
