Last thursday I went into St. John's hospital in Livingston for Mastoid surgery, I was first in so got seen to pretty quickly - Surgery lasted 2 hours. Everything went well and I was told I could get out that evening. Apon leaving the Hospital they gave me 1 box of paracetamols to deal with the pain, Yes thats right, Paracetamols thats it. I had just spent most of the morning getting my skull drilled and ear poked etc and I get Paracetamols.. thanks! . Ended up having to phone the NHS in tears and they sorted me out fairly quickly...not at all impressed with St. Johns tho. :(
