"I was one of many who had their cataract operation..."

About: Halton Hospital

I was one of many who had their cataract operation at Halton after being referred from the NHS Wales, from my assessment it took 2 weeks to having the operation. We arrived at 10.20 and left at 11.30 so quick. Met at reception by a nurse and straight up to the ward pre op checkes done and a very short wait for the surgery, the operation its self took about 20 minutes, then after a short post op talk , I was on my way home. Must say a big thank you to the nursing staff who looked after us , so reassuring and helpful .

Really pleased to read that everything went so well with your surgery and that it all happened so quickly as well. This is a new service for us working with NHS Wales so it's great to hear your feedback on it. Thank you.
