"don,t go there"

About: University Hospital (Coventry)

from entering the site to finding parking space a nightmare, disabled parking have to get out of car to get ticket to enter, no wheelchairs in area no seating and a long way to walk.No outside covered seating, long walk to treatment areas inside, long wait to see consultant then have to wait up to an hour for prescription, No visual stimulus in waiting areas ie mags pictures t.v music, no water machine in waiting area long walk to vending machine, dare not leave area after sitting for hours in case you loose place in queue.Never asked if wanted copy of letter sent to G.P. No one in my hearing has ever been asked. Blood department we were told to late to have blood taken then nurses complained about consultant sending people when they are closed, they then had words about a sticking plaster. Could i suggest team building exercises, also for staff on ward who from my experience show no empathy and are very judgmental. The meal portions are inadequate have to go to the cafe to eat every day the meals there are good and reasonable priced.Only well off people can afford the cost of in patient entertainment. Then you have the cost of parking your car considering it is a fairly new hosp it is a disgrace when it comes to caring for the client needless to say i have booked into the RVI Hospital in Newcastle for my op you could learn a lot from there service please feel free to get in touch so i can expand on what i have already said.Have been visiting for 12 months
