"CTS operations"

About: Tameside General Hospital

Arrived for my 7.30 appointment at 7.15 it was a good 2 1/2 hours before l was asked to go to the sub waiting area, there was confusion over which hand was being operated on and if I was having a general or local. I was glad my partner was with me to settle my nerves as it was approximately 11.30 before my op took place. All the staff and the surgeon were excellent and my operation was successful.

Many thanks for your lovely comments it is always pleasing to hear positive experiences. I will ensure the team are made aware of your feedback. Thank you again John Goodenough Director of Nursing ‘’Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed. Want to know more about what’s involved? Please contact John Goodenough, Director of Nursing at john.goodenough@tgh.nhs.uk
