"Fantastic care"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital

My father suffered a heart attack in July and was rushed to this hospital. After a wait in A and E where they did their utmost to find an appropriate bed, he was taken to a high dependency unit. When he no longer needed that intensive care, he was placed on another suitable cardiac ward, from where he was discharged. At all times, he felt cared for by the friendly and professional staff. There was only ever one complaint and that was 2 nurses who were talking in their native language at the end of his bed. Quite rude he thought and being a nurse myself, I'd absolutely agree. That, however, was the only complaint. A1 service was received, despite the staff being run off their feet.
