As an NHS patient in a private hospital I was expecting a good experience and was not disappointed. From the moment I arrived until being discharged five days later, the care was faultless. It's a busy hospital but the staff always seemed to have plenty of time to cope. Nursing staff who may not have been on duty before always knew your full history, and nothing was ever a problem for them. The Consultant care and professionalism was of the highest standard and ten days after my hip replacement I am so pleased with the progress. Physio care was in house and very good and I always felt safe in their care. I was told that the only difference between NHS and private patients I'm told was a different menu. I don't know if it was true, but my food was fine, and always delivered on time with a smile. Even the matron, no Hattie Jacques, even had time to pop in for a chat on several occasions. In sort a great experience.
"Superb experience"
