"Stow ward"

what a breath of fresh air!! the NHS gets a lot of stick in the press for mistakes and underperforming... send them to stow ward! that ward should be set as an example of how things should be done, the staff are very caring, very professional, my Grandad went in to stow ward a very broken man both mentally and physically after having a replacement that got infected in the community with E.S.B.L E-coli. the consultant, tissue viability nurses and all the staff nurses where so proactive in there approach and care that only 5 weeks later my Grandad is coming out of hospital. he had a lot of down days whilst in there but the staff nurses and carers made a real fuss of him and took the time to explain thing properly The nursing staff went over and above the call of duty, they will forever be in my Grandads heart and the rest of the family thank you !
