I am a 50yr old woman who started abnormally severe vaginal bleeding in 2008. I was referred to a Consultant at Canterbury Hospital.

I was seen quickly.

The staff were courteous, professional and approachable.

The place was clean, and there was a friendly atmosphere, and I had minor surgery as a Day patient.

At each stage, I felt that I was kept informed of their clinical thinking, and that the staff listened to my thoughts and opinions so that together we were able to choose the best course of treatment. Communication was not rushed, so I felt able to ask questions, and appointment letters arrived in good time.

I felt exceptionally well cared for by everyone from the receptionists to the clinical staff. I already had a good opinion of Canterbury Hospital after visiting family and friends there, and this just reinforced it.
