I have recently had 2 relatives treated at Southend hospital for emergency care. They were extremely well cared for once through the front desk situation which was awful. The staff there were busy chatting to each other and laughing. We had to wait a long time to give our details despite one relative being on the verge of collapse with pain. She went on to have an emergency removal of appendix. I cannot fault the medical or nursing care. it was excellent throughout. The paramedics were fantastic and so kind to my elderly relative. Thank you to all who worked hard on my relatives' behalf.
